We thought Hayden Panettiere was dating New York Jets quarterback March Sanchez a few weeks ago when they were spotted at an In-N-Out burger in Laguna Hills, CA. We got our players confused, apparently. The Scream 4 actress is actually dating Sanchez’s teammate and friend from childhood Scotty McKnight, according to Us Magazine. The new couple were spotted in West Hollywood May 20th at Mel’s Diner.
The self-professed “huge Jets fan” told Us June 2nd that she’s friends with Sanchez. “I’ve always been that girl who has a lot of dude friends. I’m into sports so we have a lot in common,” she said.
McKnight played for the University of Colorado before being picked as a 7th round of the 2011 NFL draft for the Jets.
