Most of the shots given are booster shots. Two MMR shots?
Varicella needs to be taken twice at 1 month intervals, however most doctors sign and seal the package when you take the first varicella shot and then ask you to come back one month later and take the 2nd shot, if not, you can insist the doctor to do so.
Needed shots are MMR, TD and Varicella, all others are Age unappropriate for us(atleast the applicants and spouses).

1. When I apply for a new H1B after 1 year break, does the H1B comes under the quota or will it be considered on previously held H1B quota.

Well, if you have a job offer for which you qualify and all relevant supporting documents, I dont see why you wont get the approval.

Hello,
I was wondering how long it took for everyone's check to be cashed once their packages were received at the TX service center? I'm worried because from what I read before the check cashing was almost immediate, while getting a receipt actually took longer. My package was received and signed for by Michael Salcedo on November 13th, but the check still hasn't cashed and I do not have a receipt. My husband and I are planning on travelling to Canada for Christmas, will crossing the border be a problem? Any advice anyone can give would be great! Thanks in advance!

I tried calling Nebraska Service Center using the 1-800 number and then entering the POJ options. But it seems USCIS has a new system in place and there's no way to reach the Service Center anymore.
Looks like they ended another means of communication---no more POJ? Please correct me, if someone knows the new options. Thanks!

Today , an officer from Homeland Security visited my office.
The guy showed his Identity Card and was looking for me and the my boss (who signed the Visa Papers). He took me privately in a conference room and asked me questions like my pay, my duties, who paid for H-1 renewal etc.
Then he went to our HR dept and asked a few questions regarding my employment history. He asked me if you are treated well in this company. ( Note: Mine is not a consultant company) Anyways the guy was very polite and he told me its just a formality from homeland security
also he took picture of my desk
On searching more on this I came across this site

Hello everyone, thanks in advance for any reply.
I mailed in my wife's I485 and I130 together (she's from China, and we just got married a month ago), and I just realized that I forgot to include the marriage license with the forms!
Now, what are my options? I noticed that they have not cashed my 2 checks yet, should I cancel them so I at least don't get charged for the forms that will be rejected?
Or, is there any way for me to mail the marriage license separately and hope they get it?
Right now, I think it would be better to just redo the forms, but do I have to wait for the forms to get rejected first?

I got my labor approved in Jan (EB2 - RIR) , I say EB2 because because all the documentation was done supporting EB2 (BS + 5 years). My job requires that and I meet the criteria.
However, when Applying my I140 , the lawyer screwed up and filed under EB3 and got approved.
I very much want to go for EB2. Is it possible to file I140 again under EB2 with the same LC? If I want to re-file, do I have to or do they (USICS) cancel my previous I140 approval ?
Is filing another LC under PERM and I140 safer route than using the current LC ?
What is the best course of action ?
I know there is a clear advantage today in being in EB2 over EB3 (PD wise) and it looks like most people are converting from EB3 to EB2. I am not sure whether there will be any advantage of being in EB2 over EB3 by the time my PD (oct 04) becomes current.
Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.

I have an H1b approval notice but as it clear the duration of the visa validity starts in October, today being 27 june and three months away from start of visa duration can i travel to India next month ( july) and be back in August as i am still on OPT and working full time in America now. I have got an oppointment with a consulate in India. Once i have got a stamp on my passport will i be permitted to enter back immediately or only in october, i need to make decision to travel now or later as if i am allowed back immediately it will affect my work.

In my opinion I think we should get the news guys into this and get the information out there about the irresponsibility with which they have mismanaged the whole process. Such kind of problems usually grab headlines when it happens with US citizens.
I think we need to be heard. Imagine, insurance companies violating makes news, social security makes news, airport security regulations and mismanagement makes news _ WHY CANT THIS? I have taken a 2 day stop over in Dubai while coming back to USA in April 2010. I booked my flight on Emirates. Emirates will sponsor my visa. But i am not sure now they allow Advance Parole as when i apply for visa one of the requirements says "Travel documents, such as re-entry permits and refugee documents are not permitted"

Hi all,
I need an urgent advice. on April 4th I started a new job in a good size company (200+ employers). 2 week before starting the job, I had sent the company all the information required to transfer the visa (paystubs, etc etc) and they confirmed that everything was fine.
Last week (Apr 27th) I have been asked by the Payroll company to provide copy of the I-797 to attach to the I-9. I contacted the company's immigration lawyer and he stated that they filed the transfer on Apr, 26th (3 weeks after i started working for them) and he should have the receipt shortly. This caught me off guard because I was sure they already filed the application before I started working for them. I am really concerned now as I believe I am out of status (or I have been for 3 weeks).
Should I be worried? what's your take on this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My ead card production ordered. I efiled on April 27th.
Rediculous, the processing times say it takes 90 days minimum. Hopefully they will give the extension from my expiry date which is Aug 28th 2008.
As USCIS is saying they will issue 2 year ead starting Jun 30. certainly I will not get a 2 year EAD.
