Miranda Kerr Glams Up InStyle Australia August 2011
She hails from the Land Down Under, so it comes as little surprise to find Miranda Kerr adorning the cover of the August 2011 issue of InStyle Australia.
The Victoria's Secret hottie posed for a glamorous spread shot by Mike Newling while chatting about topics including losing her baby weight and possibly moving back to her native country.
Highlights from Miss Kerr's InStyle Australia interview are as follows:
On getting back into shape after giving birth to baby Flynn: “He’s a big baby, 4.5 kilograms at birth, and I thought to myself, ‘I have so much more that I want to do aside from modeling. I can live with my body not being in shape if I have a healthy son. It’s worth it’.”
On what's important in her life: “I was working 18-hour days. Now the pace has slowed so I can spend the majority of my time with Flynn—we have a bath together every night. [I am] first a wife and a mother, and then comes work. When I work, it needs to be the best decision for us as a family.”
On returning to Australia for work purposes: “I always have a great time when I go back. I grew up [working] with so many of the Australian designers—Lisa Ho, Alex Perry, the Ksubi boys—they were the first shows I ever did and I feel close to them.”
On the possibility of relocating back to Australia: “I like to think [so]. Flynn would love it, and I had such a wonderful childhood in the country. He is going to have a diverse upbringing.”
