Emma Watson: Top Magazine Mexico

Adding more magazine exposure to her portfolio, Emma Watson is featured in the July 2011 issue of Top Magazine Mexico.

The English actress/fashionista looks fabulous in a spread of pictures in which she slicked back her cropped coif for a more intense persona.

Meanwhile, Emma and the rest of her “Harry Potter” pals are gearing up for the big release of the film franchise finale “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II.”

Set to premiere in the UK this Thursday (July 7), the film is scheduled to hit theaters on July 15th.

Emma Watson in August's UK Harper's Bazaar

'My acting tutor said the hardest thing for me was to get angry. I almost broke down in tears when they tried to get me to be angry. I said, "I can’t do it, I just can’t do it."

'I keep all of that really bottled up somewhere and I feel unleashing it would be the scariest thing – and to let myself be powerful, sexy, all those things, it’s scary for me. [Even playing the bad girl in this shoot] felt a bit uncomfortable and awkward, it didn’t come naturally at all.'

'LA scares the crap out of me.

'I feel if I have to work out four hours a day, and count the calories of everything I put in my mouth, and have Botox at 22, and obsess about how I look the whole time, I will go mad, I will absolutely lose it.'

Emma Watson Immortalized In Painting For Art Exhibit [PHOTOS]

Emma Watson is the star of the current exhibition Emma at Panter and Hall, a London gallery that specializes in British contemporary art.

Emma worked with artist Mark Demsteader on the new exhibition, which will benefit the African charity CAMFED, and she admitted being on such a low-key set, which didn’t have a team of stylists and make-up professionals, was a strange experience.

Emma, seen here with her stuffed teddy bear at Heathrow airport yesterday (June 29) stated, “It was a really simple shoot with just a single light to cast shadows. We took lots of pictures in a variety of poses and Mark went away and selected 30 or so to turn into paintings.”

She went on to say, “I’m lucky enough to live in a country that gives me an equal right to my schooling: I’ve never had to contend with the kind of prejudice and sexual discrimination women in these countries deal with every day,” she says. “My education has been so empowering, and has given me such stability and independence, and the idea of giving other girls the opportunities I have been lucky enough to have makes me very happy.”

Emma Watson’s Vibrant July 2011 Vogue Cover

She’s no stranger to media attention, and Emma Watson is on the cover of Vogue magazine’s July 2011 issue.

The “Perks of Being a Wallflower” actress chats about her experiences with making the “Harry Potter” films, especially the makeup trailer.

“That was my playground. I would sit and play with lipsticks, foundations, and eye shadows; and every now and then [head of makeup, Amanda Knight] would let me do the extras’ face paint for the Quidditch matches.”

Emma also sings the praises of her longtime costar and friend Daniel Radcliffe. “He understood what his role was, not just as an actor but as the leading man in this enormous franchise. And I think that was almost more important in a way. He held it all together. I am very grateful for him.”

As for striking the balance between work and school, “I have felt for the last ten years I have had this battle; I’ve been fighting so hard to have an education. It’s been this uphill struggle. I was Warner Bros.’ pain in the butt. I was their scheduling conflict. I was the one who made life difficult. I just realized at one point that I can’t fight everything. I have to move in the direction of it—and go with it.”

Emma Watson After Part y 2011 MTV Movie Awards

Taking advantage of the evening’s affairs, Emma Watson was seen attending the 2011 MTV Movie Awards After Party in West Hollywood last night (June 5).

The “Harry Potter” hottie mingled with the likes of Cameron Diaz, Lily Collins, Taylor Lautner and Emma Stone at the Yoostar-sponsored fete at SoHo House.

And though she’s still relatively young in her acting career, Emma told press she feels like an old lady sometimes.

"I'm this very weird mix. In some senses, I feel as if I'm 100 years old. In others, I still feel incredibly young, very naive and as if I haven't seen much of the world at all. I've been incredibly protected, but in other ways I've had to be in situations that nobody my age would."

Emma Watson – 2011 MTV Movie Awards

Is it us, or does Emma Watson always kill it on the red carpet? The youthful face of Lancome arrived at the Gibson Amphitheater in Universal City, CA to present at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards in a short ivory Marchesa number paired with THE BEST Brian Atwood heels I’ve ever seen.

The Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 star recently announced that she was leaving Brown to focus on her career. According to New Zealand’s Stuff, Watson told the Sunday Times Style magazine the reason she wanted to attend college: “I wanted to pretend I wasn’t as famous as I was. I was trying to seek out normality, but I kind of have to accept who I am, the position I’m in and what happened.

“I feel more comfortable with the fame now. It used to make me really uncomfortable. It’s interesting. My dad’s always giving me a hard time about my posture. The way I used to stand, it was almost as if I was apologising to everyone. I wanted to hide myself, but now – it’s difficult, I still feel shy, but I feel more like I can accept it.”
